Before the event ends

• Take tags and clips off spare lanyards, box up and record quantities
• As lanyards are returned - box up tags and clips and record quantities
• Check staff and signage ready for tag and lanyard return from attendees

After the event ends

• Once final tracked session has ended, retrieve all beacons and gateways except registration area (see below)
• Check there is one gateway, with antenna, with power, showing online in the console, ready for hibernation
• Check there are 2 beacons in registration, showing online in the console, ready for hibernation
• Check the number of tags reporting in the last 15 minutes in the console, ready for hibernation
• Enter hibernation mode in the console
• Wait at least 15 minutes and check the number of tags reporting in the last 15 minutes has fallen to zero
• Take the system out of hibernation mode before powering down the gateway
• Pack up the registration beacons and gateway, and collate final stock counts
• Wipe any rented iphones before return

Retrieving beacons

Start from the furthest point and work back to registration

For each beacon

• Remove the beacon without damaging paintwork
• Take out the batteries
• Return the beacon and batteries to registration

Packing beacons

• Put used batteries back in their boxes, labeled with the number of days usage.
• Put beacons, with no batteries, back in their boxes
• Record the number of beacons packed, and check for any lost beacons
